ABOUT CAMBOX


What is Cambox

  • Cambox is a parcel box used to receive deliveries round the clock, year round.  It is an innovative, ultra secure solution that enables you to receive personal parcels in a company or the building where you live.  The interior of each Cambox is equipped with a camera that is triggered when the Cambox is opened.  When a parcel is delivered, you receive the corresponding video. 

Is it a paying service

  • The service is free with no additional charge for users.

How can I access the Cambox service

  • If your company or your building is equipped with a Cambox, all you have to do is register and create a personal account on the homepage of the Cambox website http://www.mycambox.com. To be able to use the service and have your purchases delivered in the Cambox station of your choice, you must create a delivery code in your account upon each online purchase.  This code is added to the delivery address you indicate when you place the order. 

Which delivery address should I indicate to get my parcel delivered


  •  You must indicate the address of the Cambox station of your choice, not your personal address. 


Where can I enter the generated code in the delivery address


  •  The unique code you generated must appear without fail on the label that will be printed and affixed on your parcel.  Do not hesitate to enter “Cambox drop” followed by the code generated for the occasion, after your name or that of the company, in the same field.  Beware of “additional address details” fields proposed by some sites.  The information that you enter in them is not always printed.  


How does the delivery process function


  •  When the deliveryman drops your parcel off in a Cambox, you receive an e-mail with the video of the delivery operation as an attachment.  All you have to do then is go to the selected Cambox station.  The Cambox containing your parcel opens automatically when you enter your master code. 


Where are the Cambox stations located


  •  The Cambox stations are installed in your company (entrance hall, mail room, works council room, for instance) or in the entrance hall of your building.  If you do not have a Cambox station, do not hesitate to contact  us.



How can I find out if my parcel has been delivered

  • The delivery operation is filmed entirely by a camera in the Cambox.  When the parcel has been dropped off, you will receive the video by e-mail confirming that delivery has been made. 

How do I collect my parcel

  • To collect your parcel, go to the Cambox station and follow the instructions on the screen that will guide you step by step. 


What do I have to do to access the video of my delivery

  • You have received the video as an attachment in an e-mail. If this e-mail is deleted, you can access the video at the Cambox website www.mycambox.com, by connecting to your account.  You can view all the videos from your account. 

What happens if my parcel is too bulky

  • The deliveryman will send you a message when the parcel is too bulky.  It is up to you to take precautionary measures concerning the size of the Camboxes.  Each Cambox station is equipped with six 50x50x50 cm Camboxes, and one 100x50x50 cm double Cambox, which suffice for receiving deliveries of 90% of the orders placed online.  Do not have a wardrobe delivered!

The deliveryman came by but did not deliver my parcel. Why

  • If the deliveryman did not drop off your parcel, there are two possible reasons:  either no Cambox was available, or your parcel was too bulky. You will be informed accordingly in either case. 

If I am absent, how many days do I have to withdraw my parcel

  •  After a few days, the parcel can be collected by the Cambox station administrator of your company or your building, if the monopolisation of the Cambox prevents access to other users.  You must contact the manager if the parcel has been removed. 


Can I have my parcels from abroad delivered in a Cambox

  • Yes, you can place an order with a foreign online shop. 

Can I receive several parcels at the same time?

  •  Of course, you can have several parcels delivered at the same time. 


What should I do if my parcel is not delivered in time

  •  Contact the online shop where you made your purchase.  You can also deactivate your delivery code by connecting to your account, which is tantamount to refusing the parcel when delivered.  Cambox is not responsible for any delay.  It is preferable to contact the online shop

How do I edit the data concerning my account

  •  To edit, add or delete data relating to your account, you must go the section dedicated to your personal information.  You can then make all the changes you want. 


Can I view the history of my orders

  •  Yes, by connecting to your account, you can access the history of all the codes generated since your account was created.  


How should I proceed if I want to transfer or return a parcel

  • You must generate a transfer code or a return code that will enable you to transfer the parcel of your choice.  When returning a parcel, remember to apprise the addressee of the return code.  

To whom can I transfer a parcel

  • Parcels can be transferred to all subscribers to the Cambox station. 


     

My unique code does not work. What must I do

  • Log on to your account and make sure that the unique code has been attributed to the delivery in question.  If the problem persists, contact us.

What is the difference between a unique code and a permanent code

  • A unique code is used for one delivery only.  For regular deliveries from the same supplier, for instance, you can introduce a permanent code for that supplier. 

How can I delete my Cambox account

  • You cannot delete your account yourself.  You must contact the manager of the Cambox station of your company/building, who is the only one that can carry out that action. 


My workplace has changed. Do I need to create a new account

  •  No, the account remains the same.  All you have to do is add a new Cambox station to your account. 


Where can I get more information

  • You can get more information from the Cambox station administrator of your company/building.  You can also contact us online by returning the contact form duly completed. 

I have a Blackberry, and I cannot view the video. What should I do

  •  A message tells you that the element selected cannot be displayed.  No need to panic.  You must first save the video, and then you will be able to view it
